Nayanthara Slams Rumors About Getting Cosmetic Surgery: "On Record, Not True"

One of the most loved actresses, Nayanthara is a leading superstar in the Indian film industry. After making her incredible Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, she garnered a wide fanbase from Hindi movie lovers as well.

She made her debut with the 2003 release Manassinakkare, and back then, Nayanthara was a completely different person. When you look at her in Manassinakkare and then in Jawan, there's a big difference in her appearance.

While she is aware of the changes in her physical appearance, this doesn't mean Nayanthara has gone under any cosmetic surgery. In a recent interview, the diva revealed about rumours that suggested her going under the needle to enhance her features.

Nayanthara on cosmetic surgery

In a recent conversation with Hauterrfly, the Annapoorani actress revealed how she's had 'different brow phases' and is not going through any cosmetic or plastic surgeries.

Speaking about the same, she said, 'I take the time to perfect it because it's the real game changer. I've had different brow phases over the years. Maybe that's why people think my face is changing and I keep looking different. Maybe that's why a lot of people think I've done something to my face.'

While addressing the rumours of going under the knife, Nayanthara said, 'But that's not true. On record, not true. Not that it's wrong."

"But for me, it has just been diet, so there's been a lot of weight fluctuation, and my cheeks go in and out. You can pinch me, burn me you'll know there's no plastic in here,' she added.

On the work front

The Tamil diva started her own beauty brand called 9Skin, which is committed to offering effective and gentle care for all skincare types. Focusing on ingredients, the brand creates products that promise to promote healthy and nourishing skin.

Nayanthara has partnered with Isha Ambani-led Tira, under which 9Skin will also be available on the marketplace.

The actress, who is also the co-founder of the brand, shared her excitement and said, 'We are excited to partner with Tira and expand our reach within the Indian market."

"Our mission is to provide clean, effective, and ethical skincare solutions for individuals of all skin types, and this collaboration enables us to reach a broader audience through Tira's extensive network,' Nayanthara further added.
